Common use of Days of Week Clause in Contracts

Days of Week. A “business day,” as used herein, shall mean any day other than a Saturday, Sunday or holiday, as defined in Section 6700 of the California Government Code. If any date for performance herein falls on a day other than a business day, the time for such performance shall be extended to 5:00 p.m. on the next business day.
