Common use of Decision to Apply Clause in Contracts

Decision to Apply. (a) If a Discovery is made in the Permit Area, Paltar shall deliver any Discovery notice required under the Petroleum Act and shall as soon as possible submit to the Operating Committee a report containing available details concerning the Discovery and Operator’s recommendation as to whether a Production Licence should be sought. (b) The Operating Committee decision whether to apply to the Government for a Production Licence shall be decided by Nation alone.
