Deduction of Holiday Compensatory Time. For each shift off, any employee approved to use holiday compensatory time will have accrued hours deleted from the employee's accrued holiday pay/holiday compensatory time in 12/24-hour increments and will receive no pay or other prorated monetary benefits for such holiday compensatory time, except as provided below for payment for unused holiday compensatory time. The accounting of the deletion of the 12/24 hours of accrued compensatory time per shift of the requesting employee will be the sole basis for payment of the relief employee at no additional cost impact to the City. The exception to the 12/24-hour increment is emergency callback, which will be treated in the same manner as shift trades.
