Common use of Default Enrollment Clause in Contracts

Default Enrollment. 16 1. New Full-Time employees who fail to submit a timely application 17 to Opt-Out or enroll into the medical and dental benefit plans described in Section A 18 will be enrolled by default in the County’s Major Medical plan and ODS Dental plan, 19 with employee only coverage. Eligible dependents of such employees may be 20 enrolled in the default plans if the employee submits application requesting 21 dependent enrollment within fifteen (15) days of date default enrollment notice is 22 issued.
