Common use of Deferral of Service Clause in Contracts

Deferral of Service. Long-Term Firm Point-To-Point Transmission Service as Through or Out Service may be deferred until the designated Participants or other entities complete construction of new transmission facilities or upgrades needed to provide such service whenever it is determined that providing the requested service would, without such new facilities or upgrades, impair or degrade reliability to any existing Firm Transmission Service.

Deferral of Service. Long-Term Firm Point-To-Point Transmission Service as Through or Out Service may be deferred until the designated Participants Transmission Providers or other entities complete construction of new transmission facilities or upgrades needed to provide such service whenever it is NEPOOL Restated Open Access Transmission Tariff Original Sheet No. 119 determined that providing the requested service would, without such new facilities or upgrades, impair or degrade reliability to any existing Firm Transmission Service.
