Definition of Distant Geographical Assignment. A "distant geographical assignment' is one that requires an Officer assigned to a duty station to change to another duty station. The Union agrees that the filling of such assignments will be made in accordance with Employer's determination for the number of Officers and the kinds of skills needed to perform the work to be accomplished.
