Special Assignment Positions. 13.03.01 Special assignments may be initiated by the Director of Education. Notices of Special Assignment positions shall be posted within the school year by the Board in all secondary schools for a minimum of five (5) days prior to the interview dates. Postings will include job descriptions, responsibility allowances where applicable and the estimated duration of the assignment(s). 13.03.02 On return from the Teacher’s special assignment, and subject to the staff reduction procedures, the Teacher shall be returned to an equivalent teaching assignment which is within the same division or subject area that he/she held before the special assignment. 13.03.03 Any allowance for Special Assignment Teachers shall be negotiated with OECTA St. Clair Secondary.
Special Assignment Positions. 11.1 For the purpose of this Contract, Special Assignment positions are U.S. Park Police Private positions to which Technician pay is authorized.
Special Assignment Positions. A. Special Assignment Positions are defined as those assigned positions that are specialized in nature and may require specific training before a member will be assigned to the specialized position. The Chief of Police has the authority to establish and define the qualifications for the position. The posting shall include the criteria for selection of the position, which may include, but not limited to, knowledge required for the position, demonstrated ability and qualities, education, experience, work record and disciplinary record. C. Bargaining members interested in applying for the vacant position shall submit an application, on an approved department form, to the Chief of Police, within ten (10) days of the initial posting. The employer shall not be obligated to consider any applications submitted after the posting period or received from applicants who do not meet the minimum qualifications for the vacant position. Bargaining members shall be responsible for submitting information and documentation of training, experience, education, and any other relevant information supporting their application for a vacancy. If no application is submitted within the ten (10) day period, the employer may appoint an officer at the discretion of the Chief of Police. D. An administrative evaluation as determined by the Chief of Police shall include a review of supervisor recommendations from each supervisor who has supervised or otherwise been involved with the candidate, and the Chief of Police shall schedule interviews with each candidate. The Chief of Police shall select the most qualified employee for the vacant position based on the qualifications of the applicants as specified in the job description and job posting. Selection of employees to said positions and removal therefrom shall be made by the City Manager upon recommendation of the Department Head. An employee so assigned shall receive a salary increment not to exceed five percent (5%) of the employee’s present salary. Special assignment positions within a classification which have been previously established by the Chief of Police to meet operational needs of the Department are not subject to the provisions of this Section unless those positions have been established by the City Council or are subject to additional compensation as otherwise specified in this Memorandum of Understanding.

  • Special Assignments Special assignments shall not be considered breaks in service or affect the privileges and the status of that person with the University. Any special conditions of such special assignments shall be clearly set forth in writing. They shall become binding only after having been signed by the unit member concerned and by the appropriate chancellor, or designee.

  • Special Assignment Pay The Chief of Police shall have complete discretion to pay two percent (2%) special assignment pay incentive which will be added to the base salary of persons in the Bargaining Unit.

  • Additional Assignments The Contractor further agrees to, and if applicable, cause each of its employees to, execute, acknowledge, and deliver all applications, specifications, oaths, assignments, and all other instruments which the City might reasonably deem necessary in order to apply for and obtain copyright protection, mask work registration, trademark registration and/or protection, letters patent, or any similar rights in any and all countries and in order to assign and convey to the City, its successors, assigns and nominees, the sole and exclusive right, title, and interest in and to the deliverables. The Contractor’s obligations to execute, acknowledge, and deliver (or cause to be executed, acknowledged, and delivered) instruments or papers such as those described in this Paragraph 38 a., b., and c. shall continue after the termination of this Contract with respect to such deliverables. In the event the City should not seek to obtain copyright protection, mask work registration or patent protection for any of the deliverables, but should desire to keep the same secret, the Contractor agrees to treat the same as Confidential Information under the terms of Paragraph 37 above.
