We do not give you advice as to whether this product is suitable for meeting your specific demands and needs, you must therefore carefully read the policy wording and other documentation, particularly the section on exclusion and limitations, to determine whether this product’s will provide you with sufficient cover and is right for you. Please contact us immediately if you wish to cancel any insurance policy we have arranged for you. You may have a right to cancel a policy without penalty within the first 14 days (or, in some cases, longer). Please refer to your policy documentation for further details. If you cancel within this initial cancellation period (where this applies) you will receive a proportionate refund of premium from the insurer. However, insurers are entitled to make an administrative charge. In addition, we may charge an amount which reflects the administrative costs of arranging and cancelling the policy. Details of the amount we charge are detailed below under Fees and Charges. If you choose to cancel other than within an initial cancellation period you may not receive a pro-rata refund of premium. Cover is only available and valid to customers who: - Answer questions accurately and truthfully - Are UK residents with an address in the United Kingdom and have lived in the UK for at least 6 of the last 12 months - Are registered with a General Practitioner in the UK - Are in the United Kingdom when the Policy is purchased (except when You renew an existing Annual multi-trip policy, provided there is no gap in cover); - Are aged 65 or under at the start of the Policy Period for Backpacker policies; - Are aged 75 or under at the start of the Policy Period for Annual multi-trip policies; - Are aged 64 or under at the start of the Policy Period for Winter Sports policies You are entitled to cancel your travel insurance policy by contacting us by phone or email within 14 days of receiving your insurance documents, if you change your mind and decide it is no longer required or appropriate. In these circumstances, we will give you a full refund of the premium already paid as long as no claim has been made and you have no intention of making a claim. After this 14 day window, you will still have the right to cancel your travel insurance policy at any point. If you do this outside of the 14 day cooling-off period, no premium will be refunded. We may however decide differently in very exceptional circumstances, such as bereavement, or a change to your policy resulting in us declining to cover your medical conditions.   • Demands and Notices All demands and notices given by a party under this Annex will be given as specified in Section 12 of this Agreement.

  • Demands Each indemnified party hereunder agrees that promptly upon its discovery of facts giving rise to a claim for indemnity under the provisions of this Agreement, including receipt by it of notice of any demand, assertion, claim, action or proceeding, judicial or otherwise, by any third party (such claims for indemnity involving third party claims being collectively referred to herein as the “Indemnity Claim”), with respect to any matter as to which it claims to be entitled to indemnity under the provisions of this Agreement, it will give prompt notice thereof in writing to the indemnifying party, together with a statement of such information respecting any of the foregoing as it shall have. Such notice shall include a formal demand for indemnification under this Agreement. If the indemnified party knowingly failed to notify the indemnifying party thereof in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement in sufficient time to permit the indemnifying party or its counsel to defend against an Indemnity Claim and to make a timely response thereto, the indemnifying party’s indemnity obligation relating to such Indemnity Claim shall be limited to the extent that such failure has actually prejudiced or damaged the indemnifying party with respect to that Indemnity Claim.

  • PAYMENTS AND NOTICES All sums payable by Tenant to Landlord shall be paid, without deduction or offset, in lawful money of the United States to Landlord at its address set forth in Item 12 of the Basic Lease Provisions, or at any other place as Landlord may designate in writing. Unless this Lease expressly provides otherwise, as for example in the payment of rent pursuant to Section 4.1, all payments shall be due and payable within five (5) days after demand. All payments requiring proration shall be prorated on the basis of a thirty (30) day month and a three hundred sixty (360) day year. Any notice, election, demand, consent, approval or other communication to be given or other document to be delivered by either party to the other may be delivered in person or by courier or overnight delivery service to the other party, or may be deposited in the United States mail, duly registered or certified, postage prepaid, return receipt requested, and addressed to the other party at the address set forth in Item 12 of the Basic Lease Provisions, or if to Tenant, at that address or, from and after the Commencement Date, at the Premises (whether or not Tenant has departed from, abandoned or vacated the Premises), or may be delivered by telegram, telex or telecopy, provided that receipt thereof is telephonically confirmed. Either party may, by written notice to the other, served in the manner provided in this Article, designate a different address. If any notice or other document is sent by mail, it shall be deemed served or delivered twenty-four (24) hours after mailing. If more than one person or entity is named as Tenant under this Lease, service of any notice upon any one of them shall be deemed as service upon all of them.

  • COMMUNICATION AND NOTICE REQUIREMENTS All communications, notices and approvals provided for hereunder shall be in writing and mailed or delivered to the Seller or the Purchaser, as the case may be, addressed as set forth in the related Sale Agreement or at such other address as either party may hereafter designate by notice to the other party. Notice given in any such communication, mailed to the Seller or the Purchaser by appropriately addressed registered mail, shall be deemed to have been given on the day following the date of such mailing.

  • Compliance with Agreements and Applicable Laws The Seller shall comply with all federal, state and local laws and regulations applicable to it and the Purchaser Assets, including those relating to truth in lending, fair credit billing, fair credit reporting, equal credit opportunity, fair debt collection practices, privacy, licensing and taxation, except to the extent that the failure to so comply, individually or in the aggregate, could not reasonably be expected to have a Material Adverse Effect.
