Common use of Demising Walls Clause in Contracts

Demising Walls. Walls separating the Premises from other storerooms shall be constructed with wood or metal studs or masonry at Landlord’s option with drywall, taped, spackled, ready for painting on all stud framed perimeter walls within the Premises except concrete and/or masonry walls, which shall include no framing, drywall or finishes. Firewalls and additional fire rating required due to Tenant’s use shall be installed by Tenant at Tenant’s sole cost and expense.
