Department Closure on Holidays. When a department chooses to close on a recognized holiday, nurses who are regularly scheduled to work on that holiday shall have the option to use PTO or not use PTO, while coding the time as low census. This time will count as time worked toward fulfilling the nurse's weekly FTE; however this shall not prevent nurses from volunteering to work additional shift(s) that week.
