Department Coordinator. A. Each year, when a position of high school department coordinator is to be filled, the teachers in the high school department shall nominate a candidate and one (1) alternate and submit the names to the high school principal. The high school principal shall make a selection from the two (2) names submitted. B. Remuneration is established in APPENDIX B-1. The Association shall be notified of the names of the department coordinators. C. The Chair will review all proposals and contracts to ensure that an appropriate number of credit hours are being awarded and only full-time faculty members are sponsoring Independent Study. The Chair is the only one authorized to grant final approval on the Spanish and Portuguese Department Contract.   • Coordinator 6.4.1 The Coordinator shall be the intermediary between the Parties and the Funding Authority and shall perform all tasks assigned to it as described in the Grant Agreement and in this Consortium Agreement. 6.4.2 In particular, the Coordinator shall be responsible for: - monitoring compliance by the Parties with their obligations - keeping the address list of Members and other contact persons updated and available Specific requested documents could, for example, be related in particular to activities raising ethical and security issues or involving human embryos or human embryonic stem cells or dual-use goods or dangerous materials and substances.
