Common use of Department Personnel File Clause in Contracts

Department Personnel File. An Agency Head may establish and maintain an unofficial personnel file for individual employees for use by supervisors. The Department Personnel file may contain, but is not limited to, copies of Disciplinary Action Reports (DARs), performance evaluations, personnel actions, and emergency contact information. The maintenance of the departmental personnel file, and access to that file by the employee and other persons, shall be in accordance with this Article.
