DESCRIPTION OF GOODS AND SERVICES. (a) Electric Vehicle Charging Equipment ( EVC Equipment) i. This Contract is for the Client Agency’s purchase of ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇, ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇ ▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ and DC (Direct Current) fast charging EVC Equipment, warranty services, replacement and repair parts electric charging use technologies and payment for use technologies. Client Agency shall direct and approve all EVC Equipment configurations. ii. This Contract does not provide for EVC Equipment installation services. iii. The Client Agency shall be responsible for assuring that all installation of EVC Equipment is done so in accordance with Connecticut General Statute 29-252a. iv. EVC Equipment offered in this Contract will comply with Connecticut’s 2005 State Building Code to ensure that the EVC Equipment is safe and meets all applicable State and Federal Regulations and codes. v. EVC Equipment provided by the Contractor must be in compliance with durability and safety tests performed and approved by the Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. (UL), or an equivalent nationally recognized testing laboratory(ies). vi. EVC Equipment provided by the Contractor will have the ability to operate with payment technology systems that comply with the Open Charge Point Protocol (OCPP). OCPP standards ensure that electric vehicle charging equipment includes computer hardware for payment systems that can accommodate software for providers of a variety of payment processing services. vii. EVC Equipment payment for use systems provided by the Contractor (hardware and software) will accept all major credit and debit cards, cellular telephone payment systems. viii. EVC Equipment provided by the Contractor will have the ability to record vehicle use data and provide reporting that details the EVC Equipment usage and vehicle specific usage information.
