Determination of Amounts Due Clause Samples

The "Determination of Amounts Due" clause defines the process by which the financial obligations between parties are calculated and confirmed under a contract. Typically, this clause outlines the methods, timing, and responsible parties for assessing payments, reimbursements, or other monetary sums owed, often referencing supporting documentation or agreed-upon formulas. Its core function is to ensure transparency and accuracy in financial transactions, reducing the risk of disputes over payment amounts and providing a clear mechanism for resolving any uncertainties regarding what is owed.

(c) Unless, within thirty (30) days after Tenant’s receipt of Landlord’s reconciliation statement described above, Tenant notifies Landlord that it disagrees with Landlord’s calculation, specifying in detail the basis for such assertion (“Tenant’s Dispute Notice”), Landlord’s reconciliation statement provided to Tenant shall be conclusive and binding upon Tenant for the period represented thereby.
