Determine Control Area Boundaries. All other factors being equal, it is desirable to minimize the number of different cycle lengths in use. This is because each different cycle will constitute its own “control group”, and coordination will not be possible across control system boundaries. Accordingly, the intent will be to find one common cycle at which it is possible for all intersections along a particular corridor to operate. More than one control group will be recommended only if there is substantial difference among the shortest practical cycle lengths and/or it is not feasible to obtain reasonably good two-way progression for all intersections at one common cycle length. If a common cycle length for all intersections is determined not to be practical, the least disruptive points at which to place control group boundaries will be determined.

  • Boundaries (i) There is no dispute involving or concerning the location of the lines and corners of the Property; (ii) to Seller’s knowledge there are no encroachments on the Property and no portion of the Property is located within any “Special Flood Hazard Area” designated by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development and/or Federal Emergency Management Agency, or in any area similarly designated by any agency or other governmental authority; and (iii) no portion of the Property is located within a watershed area imposing restrictions upon the use of the Property or any part thereof.

  • Control Area An electric power system or combination of electric power systems to which a common automatic generation control scheme is applied in order to: (1) match, at all times, the power output of the generators within the electric power system(s) and capacity and energy purchased from entities outside the electric power system(s), with the load within the electric power system(s); (2) maintain scheduled interchange with other Control Areas, within the limits of Good Utility Practice; (3) maintain the frequency of the electric power system(s) within reasonable limits in accordance with Good Utility Practice; and (4) provide sufficient generating capacity to maintain operating reserves in accordance with Good Utility Practice.

  • Building Access The authorized representatives of the Union shall have access to the District’s premises at any reasonable time for the purpose of adjusting grievances, investigating working conditions, or ascertaining the provisions of this Agreement are being adhered to; provided the representatives notify the supervisor of their presence and that they do not interfere with employees in the performance of their duties. The Union shall furnish the District with the names of its authorized representatives.
