Development and Education. The Buyer carries out a project financed by the grant specified herein in this provision („Project”).
Development and Education. You will have a nominated educational supervisor within the Practice who will be responsible for your educational and clinical development and who will provide you with protected support and development time (fortnightly or monthly as agreed with you). A minimum of 2 hours a month would be recommended (additional to CPD entitlement).

Development and Education. Upon Licensee’s reasonable request, Licensor agrees to provide reasonable support for the Licensee’s development and educational efforts with respect to the Licensee Products including, but not limited to, the following: (i) Licensor shall provide Licensee, upon request but subject to any agreements of confidentiality with respect thereto, copies of the results of any marketing research conducted by or on behalf of Licensor with respect to the Product(s); and (ii) Licensor shall respond in a timely fashion to any reasonable requests for information by Licensee regarding the Product.

Applicants are encouraged to include building local training capacity to support the delivery of ECD/E training. FHI 360 is aware that effective ECD/E training modules have been developed and are in use in Swaziland, and therefore does not anticipate that applicants would devote resources to developing new training materials. Applicants are requested to identify and describe the training materials that will be used. ECD materials should include health, nutrition and sanitation; physical and cognitive development; and behavior and discipline. Training recipients will include NCP caregivers, pre-school teachers, and parents or other caregivers. Applicants are requested to include in their application approaches to identifying parents and caregivers who would qualify for ECD/E training. Objective: improve the access to and utility of savings group membership for community members. Direct performance metrics and outputs indicators: Number or individuals trained in managing or training savings groups Number of participants of savings groups receiving direct or step-down CBLD training and other technical support.   • PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND EDUCATIONAL IMPROVEMENT A. Both the Board and the Association encourage teachers to seek professional improvement. In order to assist teachers in extending and improving their skills the following plan will be implemented. B. All Teachers will be encouraged to earn a Masters degree or coursework toward additional certification that is in the field of education and within a teacher's discipline, or in an area that is beneficial to the school. C. The Board will pay teacher's expenses for undergraduate and/or graduate credits, specialty and additional endorsements under the following conditions. 1. In allocating budgeted funds priority will be given to the teachers in a “masters” program and those teachers who need to complete coursework for certification. 2. All courses must be approved, in advance, by the Superintendent. Courses for recertification purposes must be approved in advance by the certification committee and the superintendent. The teacher shall receive a written reply from the Superintendent within ten (10) days of application for course approval (See Appendix D). 3. Each teacher will be eligible for up to six (6) semester hours of credit or, if enrolled in a matriculated, organized program, 12 semester hours of credit for undergraduate will be paid if part of a graduate program or graduate courses per contract year. The Superintendent reserves the right to request intent to take courses prior to final budget preparation. Failure to communicate such intent at the time of the Superintendent’s request may jeopardize course reimbursement due to a lack of funding. 4. The administration will pay in advance the cost of the course. Presentation of evidence of satisfactory completion of the course (A grade of B or better) is the responsibility of the teacher. In the event the course is not completed or not completed satisfactorily, the teacher will refund the payment received in advance and in accordance with Appendix D – attached. 5. Teachers who resign shall not be eligible for reimbursement after the date of resignation Teachers who have been reimbursed for any course work toward securing a masters within the last two (2) years of employment shall be required to continue their service to RSU # 78 for an additional two (2) years (twenty-four months) or will be required to reimburse the district the cost associated with Masters courses taken prior to departing, Such reimbursement to the district shall be remitted via payroll deductions as arranged between the District and employee, unless the failure to continue employment is due to illness, disability, death, or reduction of position. 6. Reimbursement will only be for tuition and fees. It will not include reimbursement for mileage, books and other expenses unless the teacher is required to take the course by the administration.

  • Development and Commercialization Subject to Sections 4.6 and 4.7, Fibrocell shall be solely responsible for the development and Commercialization of Fibrocell Products and Improved Products. Fibrocell shall be responsible for all costs incurred in connection with the Fibroblast Program except that Intrexon shall be responsible for the following: (a) costs of establishing manufacturing capabilities and facilities in connection with Intrexon’s manufacturing obligation under Section 4.6 (provided, however, that Intrexon may include an allocable portion of such costs, through depreciation and amortization, when calculating the Fully Loaded Cost of manufacturing a Fibrocell Product, to the extent such allocation, depreciation, and amortization is permitted by US GAAP, it being recognized that the majority of non-facilities scale-up costs cannot be capitalized and amortized under US GAAP); (b) costs of basic research with respect to the Intrexon Channel Technology and Intrexon Materials (i.e., platform improvements) but, for clarity, excluding research described in Section 4.7 or research requested by the JSC for the development of a Fibrocell Product or an Improved Product (which research costs shall be reimbursed by Fibrocell); (c) [*****]; and (d) costs of filing, prosecution and maintenance of Intrexon Patents. The costs encompassed within subsection (a) above shall include the scale-up of Intrexon Materials and related active pharmaceutical ingredients for clinical trials and Commercialization of Fibrocell Products undertaken pursuant to Section 4.6, which shall be at Intrexon’s cost whether it elects to conduct such efforts internally or through Third Party contractors retained by either Intrexon or Fibrocell (with Intrexon’s consent).
