DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURES. Medically necessary procedures and laboratory testing used to diagnose or treat medical conditions, including pathology, X-rays, ultrasound, and MRI/ CT/PET scans. DOMESTIC PARTNER: A person of the opposite or same sex with whom the policyholder has established a domestic partnership. DOMESTIC PARTNERSHIP: A relationship between the policyholder and one other person of the opposite or same sex. All the following requirements apply to both persons:

DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURES. The insurer will cover the actual incurred medical charges for the medically necessary diagnostic magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), positron emission tomography (PET) and computerised tomography (CT) scans. The diagnosis for PET needs to be pre-authorised. The maximum benefit should be mutually agreed between the policyholder and the insurer and stipulated in the insurance contract.

DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURES. The diagnostic procedures leading to surgery / medical treatment under BSBY will be part of the selected package and if any charges/fees collected for diagnostic procedure by same empanelled hospital before booking of TID for that selected procedure/ package shall be refunded back to the patient before discharge through recorded means either NEFT or cheque
DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURES. All diagnostic procedures require written refe- rral by a specialist in the respective area inclu- ded in the Insurer’s Directory of Practitioners. All such procedures shall be made by a practitioner or at a healthcare facility authorised by ASISA. Some procedures cannot be prescribed until a minimum period (usually called “waiting pe- riod”) has elapsed since the commencement of the contract. Those procedures are marked with an asterisk (*) below. In this section, a waiting period of 6 months applies.
DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURES. For pathological studies, X-rays and other diagnostic procedures which are obtainable in a doctor’s clinic or in a private laboratory for the purpose of assisting in diagnosis and treatment: expenses incurred which the Committee shall approve as being reasonable and customary.
