Directory Assistance Call Completion (DACC. 6.3.2.2.1 Pac-West contracting for DA services may also contract for DACC. This requires a segregated one-way trunk group to each PACIFIC OPERATOR SERVICES Tandem within the LATA for the combined DA and DACC traffic. This trunk group is set up as one-way outgoing only and utilizes Modified Operator Services Signaling (2 Digit ANI). Pac-West will have administrative control for the purpose of issuing ASR's on this one-way trunk group.
Directory Assistance Call Completion (DACC. This option provides for automatic connection of a NEFC end user calling NYNEX DA to the published telephone number requested. After the NYNEX DA operator provides the requested number, a recorded service message offer to connect the caller to that number for a specified additional charge. The caller can accept the offer for DACC by depressing a button (touch tone) or responding by voice (dial), as instructed by the voice message. The DACC charge will apply as set forth in the Pricing Schedule. In addition, for calls originating a facilities-based NEFC switch or for calls from NEFC unbundled local switching line ports, there will be charges to terminate the call from the TOPS tandem to the called party. These include the per minute of use Unbundled Tandem Transport Charges ("UTTC") assessed for each call transported between the TOPS tandem and the end office, the per minute of use Tandem Transit Switching Charge ("TTSC") assessed for each call that traverses a tandem switch, and the appropriate per minute of use charges for reciprocal compensation or UCRCC") depending on the terminating end office switch, as set forth in the Pricing Schedule. DACC is available to NEFC residence and business customers and from public telephones on a collect, bill to third number or calling card basis. The charge appropriate to the billing option used will apply in addition to the DACC charge. DACC is available with all telephone numbers in the DA database except: When a caller requests more than one number for Directory Assistance, DACC is offered only for the first eligible listing that was selected by the operator. The DACC charge will be credited for completion of calls to the wrong number, incomplete connections or calls with unsatisfactory transmission as set forth in Section 19.4 following. Rates for requests for DACC will be billed to NEFC as set forth in the Pricing Schedule.

  • Routing for Operator Services and Directory Assistance Traffic For a Verizon Telecommunications Service dial tone line purchased by VarTec for resale pursuant to the Resale Attachment, upon request by VarTec, Verizon will establish an arrangement that will permit VarTec to route the VarTec Customer’s calls for operator and directory assistance services to a provider of operator and directory assistance services selected by VarTec. Verizon will provide this routing arrangement in accordance with, but only to the extent required by, Applicable Law. Verizon will provide this routing arrangement pursuant to an appropriate written request submitted by VarTec and a mutually agreed-upon schedule. This routing arrangement will be implemented at VarTec's expense, with charges determined on an individual case basis. In addition to charges for initially establishing the routing arrangement, VarTec will be responsible for ongoing monthly and/or usage charges for the routing arrangement. VarTec shall arrange, at its own expense, the trunking and other facilities required to transport traffic to VarTec’s selected provider of operator and directory assistance services.

  • Directory Assistance 72.1 The Parties acknowledge that CenturyLink is not a Directory Assistance (DA) provider. CenturyLink provides directory listings information for its subscribers to third party DA providers to be included in the national and local databases used by such third party providers. The Parties agree that to the extent the DA provider contracted by CLEC for DA services to CLEC’s subscribers also populates the national DA database, then CLEC’s DA listings have been made available to CenturyLink’s subscribers and no further effort is needed by either Party. If for any reason, CLEC desires that CenturyLink act as a middleman conduit for the placement of CLEC’s DA listings in the DA database(s), then CenturyLink shall provide such compensable DA listings service pursuant to separate written terms and conditions between CenturyLink and CLEC which will be attached to this Agreement as an Amendment.
