Common use of Discharge of Violators Clause in Contracts

Discharge of Violators. The Employer shall have the right to discharge or otherwise discipline any or all employees who violate any of the provisions of this Article. In such event, the employee or employees, or the Union in their behalf, shall have no recourse to the grievance procedure, except for the sole purpose of determining whether an employee or employees participated in the action prohibited by this Article. If it is determined that an employee did so participate, the disciplinary action taken by the Employer may not be disturbed.
