Common use of Discovery and Notification Clause in Contracts

Discovery and Notification. If any Party discovers or becomes aware of an emergency or other situation that may present an imminent and substantial endangerment to public health, welfare or the environment at or near Pease AFB, which is related to or may affect the work perfo▇▇▇▇ under this Agreement, that Party shall immediately orally notify all other Parties. If the emergency arises from activities conducted pursuant to this Agreement, the Air Force shall then take immediate action to notify the appropriate Federal, State and local agencies and affected members of the public.
