Common use of Dock Days Clause in Contracts

Dock Days. The use of dock days is highly discouraged. A dock day may not be used without prior approval by the immediate supervisor. The use of a dock day without prior approval will incur the following disciplinary measures: First offense in a school year – A formal letter of reprimand will be placed in the employee’s personnel file. Second offense in a school year – Employee will receive a two (2) day suspension without pay. Third offense will result in the dismissal of the employee.
