Lieu Days. Where an employee is granted a lieu day pursuant to Clause 17.3 or 17.4 of this Agreement, the time off granted will be seven (7) hours per lieu day for a full-time employee and prorated for a part-time employee.
Lieu Days. In recognition that statutory holidays may be scheduled work days for shift workers, employees will be scheduled off for eleven (11) shifts in lieu of statutory holidays. These days off in lieu of statutory holidays shall normally be scheduled in the pay period in which the statutory holiday falls. Statutory holidays not scheduled in the pay period in which they fall shall be banked and rescheduled by mutual agreement. Only one (1) lieu time period shall be selected by seniority until all employees in the signing group have selected their first period. Subsequently, all employees in the signing group who have chosen to take their lieu time in separate periods shall select in order of seniority as above for each remaining period until their entitlement is chosen.

Lieu Days. Q.1 Where a part time nurse has worked a regular shift not subject to premium pay the employee may request in writing by indicating on the sign in sheet that such time be banked as lieu time equivalent to one (1) shift’s accumulation. The Employee may bank a maximum of seventy-five (75) hours at any one time. Requests for increases above the seventy- five (75) hours will be considered on an individual basis and not unreasonably denied. The banked hours will be paid out at the rate earned.
Lieu Days. (a) Lieu days under Article 12.01 must be taken within sixty (60) days following the date on which the holiday was observed, on a mutually agreeable date or payment shall be made in accordance with Article 12.04.
Lieu Days. Where an employee is granted a lieu day pursuant to Article 15, the time off granted per lieu day shall be in accordance with the current length of the scheduled workday.
Lieu Days. Specified dates requested for lieu days arising from designated paid holidays shall be submitted by the employee in writing to the department supervisor within the pay period following the paid holiday as follows: scheduled into the roster in conjunction with regular days off or simply; taken at random. Request for lieu days shall not be unreasonably withheld.
Lieu Days. 4.6.1.1 School-based principals shall be granted three (3) paid leave day(s) per school year, at a time mutually agreeable to the principal and the superintendent or designate. Failing agreement about whether the dates are mutually agreeable to the principal and the superintendent, the School Division shall pay out the unused paid leave days at one two-hundredth (1/200th) of the principal’s annual salary and allowance by the end of June each year for the first two
Lieu Days. 4.6.3.1 Effective the date of ratification of this agreement, principals will be granted two (2) lieu day(s) per school year, to be taken prior to June 1 of each year, at a time mutually agreeable to the principal and the superintendent or designate.
4.6.3.2 Effective the date of ratification of this agreement, assistant principals will be granted one (1) lieu day per school year, to be taken prior to June 1 of each year at a time mutually agreeable to the assistant principal and superintendent or designate.
4.6.3.3 The above mentioned lieu days shall not be paid out.
