Documentation of Training Clause Samples

The Documentation of Training clause requires parties to maintain records verifying that individuals have received specific training relevant to their roles or responsibilities under the agreement. This typically involves keeping attendance logs, certificates, or other written evidence that training sessions were conducted and completed by the appropriate personnel. By mandating such documentation, the clause ensures accountability and provides proof of compliance, which can be critical for regulatory purposes or in the event of a dispute regarding whether adequate training was provided.
Documentation of Training. 148. For all training required by this Agreement, within one year of the Effective Date, SPD will develop and implement a system that will allow the Training Division to electronically track, maintain, and produce complete and accurate records of current curricula, lesson plans, training delivered, and other training materials in a centralized electronic file system. The system will also allow officers to digitally acknowledge completion of each training course (whether provided through SPD or outside sources) as well as completion of annual training requirements and training on any new or substantially revised policies. The City will ensure that adequate resources are provided to maintain the system and keep it updated.
