Documentation to Accompany the Building Permit Application. On any application for a Building Permit for a dwelling unit, and prior to the issuance thereof, the Developer , his agent, the lot owner or its agent shall submit the following to the Municipality for the approval of the Building Department and/or the Municipal Engineer: (a) Architectural/Engineering Plans - Plans and Specifications with respect to the proposed construction which are sufficient to establish conformity with the Ontario Building Code, the Municipality’s Building By-law, and all other applicable law including but not limited to the follow documentation: (i) plans for the footings and foundations prepared by a professional engineer licensed in the Province of Ontario, specializing in the field of structural design; (ii) a “Commitment to General Review by Architects and Engineers” to perform general review of footings and foundation systems pursuant to subsection 2.3.2 of the Ontario Building Code, as amended; (b) Detailed Plan - a Plan for the dwelling unit site (or group of dwelling unit sites or entire phase), prepared by a Ontario Land Surveyor or engineer, showing the following: (i) the building envelope(s), and the footprint of the proposed building(s) within the building envelope(s), with the dimensions from the building corners to abutting dwelling units; (ii) The elevations for the proposed building(s) of the First Floor, the Underside of Footings, the Top of Foundation and the Finished Garage Floor (where garage exists); (iii) The locations and elevations of the Water and Sanitary Service Laterals; (iv) The proposed finished grade elevations at the dwelling unit site corners, at grade breaks along the dwelling unit site boundaries, at each corner of the proposed building(s) as well as at locations adjacent to the proposed building where changes in the grade slopes occur, and proposed finished grade elevations in drainage ▇▇▇▇▇▇ as well as the locations of drainage ▇▇▇▇▇▇. With respect to the above, all elevations shown are to be referenced to the same Benchmark as is used for the overall Grading Plan. The proposed finished grade elevations at the boundary lines of the subject dwelling unit site have to conform to the finished grades shown on the overall Grading Plan. (If the Developer supplies a detailed plan this final paragraph will be redundant.)   • ENVIRONMENTAL DOCUMENTATION Each environmental service provided by the Engineer shall have a deliverable. Deliverables shall summarize the methods used for the environmental services and shall summarize the results achieved. The summary of results shall be sufficiently detailed to provide satisfactory basis for thorough review by the State, the County, The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), and (where applicable) agencies with regulatory oversight. All deliverables shall meet regulatory requirements for legal sufficiency and shall adhere to the requirements for reports enumerated in the State’s NEPA MOU. a. Quality Assurance/Quality Control Review The Engineer shall perform quality assurance quality control (QA/QC) reviews of environmental documents and on other supporting environmental documentation to determine whether documents conform with: 1. Current Environmental Compliance Toolkit guidance published by the State’s Environmental Affairs Division and in effect as of the date of receipt of the documents or documentation to be reviewed; 2. Current state and federal laws, regulations, policies, guidance, agreements, and memoranda of understanding between the State and other state or federal agencies; and 3. FHWA and American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) guidelines contained in “Improving the Quality of Environmental Documents, A Report of the Joint AASHTO and American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) Committee in Cooperation with the Federal Highway Administration” (May 2006) for: i. Readability, and ii. Use of evidence and data in documents to support conclusions. Upon request by the State or the County, the Engineer shall provide documentation that the QA/QC reviews were performed by qualified staff. a. Deliverables shall contain all data acquired during the environmental service. All deliverables shall be written to be understood by the public and must be in accordance with the State’s Environmental Toolkit guidance, documentation standards, current guidelines, policies and procedures. b. Electronic versions of each deliverable must be written in software which is compatible to the State and must be provided in a changeable format for future use by the County. The Engineer shall supplement all hard copy deliverables with electronic copies in searchable Adobe Acrobat™ (.pdf) format, unless another format is specified. Each deliverable shall be a single, searchable .pdf file that mirrors the layout and appearance of the physical deliverable. The Engineer shall deliver the electronic files on CD-R, CD-RW media in Microsoft Windows format, or through the ftp site.

  • CERTIFICATION OF NO ASBESTOS CONTAINING MATERIALS OR WORK 8.1 The Contractor shall be responsible for ensuring that no asbestos containing materials or work is included within the scope of the Work. The Contractor shall take whatever measures it deems necessary to insure that all employees, suppliers, fabricators, material men, subcontractors, or their assigns, comply with this requirement. 8.2 The Contractor shall ensure that Texas Department of Health licensed individuals, consultants or companies are used for any required asbestos work including asbestos inspection, asbestos abatement plans/specifications, asbestos abatement, asbestos project management and third-party asbestos monitoring.
