DRAINAGE CONNECTION Clause Samples

The Drainage Connection clause establishes the requirements and responsibilities for connecting a property or development to an existing drainage system. Typically, it outlines the technical standards, approvals, and procedures that must be followed to ensure proper integration with municipal or shared drainage infrastructure. For example, it may specify who is responsible for obtaining permits, the acceptable methods of connection, and any necessary inspections. The core function of this clause is to ensure that drainage connections are made safely and in compliance with regulations, thereby preventing flooding, property damage, or environmental harm.
