Dual Immersion Program. 15.5.1 For purposes of school class size averages, as a specialized program, Dual Immersion enrollment shall not be included in the calculation of non-dual immersion class size. 15.5.2 Members teaching a dual immersion class shall receive and annual stipend, placed on the stipend schedule, of two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500)
Dual Immersion Program. 16.8.1 The District agrees to follow the protocol as detailed in this article as it relates to the implementation of the Dual Immersion Program.
Dual Immersion Program. A joint Dual Immersion committee shall be formed to facilitate communication and to work collaboratively to solve problems regarding various Dual Immersion topics and procedures. The committee shall meet not less than three (3) times throughout the school year and shall include the Director of Special Projects or designee, two (2) site principals that have Dual Immersion programs or a designee, ARE President or designee, and three (3) Bargaining Unit Members appointed by the ARE President. The District shall provide each second language Dual Immersion teacher with District approved textbooks, consumables, and/or materials that are necessary and proper to meet District curriculum requirements in the second language. For the term of this agreement, the District shall provide teachers in the Dual Language programs an additional 25 hours paid at the workshop rate for preparation of materials in the program during school breaks.   • Training Program It is agreed that there shall be an Apprenticeship Training Program, the provisions of which are set forth in Exhibit "D", which is attached hereto and forms part of this Agreement.

  • Orientation Program The Company will allow a designated representative of the Local or Bargaining Unit up to one (1) hour per calendar month for the purpose of conducting the Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union New Members’ Orientation Program. Such meetings will be conducted during the probationary period of employees, and will be held on Company premises. Employees participating in Orientation Program meetings during their normally scheduled working hours will not suffer loss of pay at their regular rate. Orientation Program meetings will be scheduled by Management and a Management representative may attend as an observer.

  • Flexible Work Schedule A flexible work schedule is any schedule that is not a regular, alternate, 9/80, or 4/10 work schedule and where the employee is not scheduled to work more than 40 hours in the "workweek" as defined in Subsections F. and H., below.

  • Training Programs All employees shall successfully complete all necessary training prior to being assigned work (e.g., all employees will complete health and safety training prior to being assigned to task). Nothing in this Article or provision shall constitute a waiver of either party’s bargaining obligations or defenses. The Employer still has an obligation to notify and bargain changes in terms and conditions of employment with the exclusive representative.
