DUPLICATION OF EFFORT Clause Samples

The Duplication of Effort clause is designed to prevent parties from performing or charging for the same work more than once under a contract. In practice, this clause ensures that if a task or service has already been completed or paid for, it cannot be billed again or repeated unnecessarily. This helps to avoid inefficiencies and extra costs, ensuring that resources are used effectively and that the client is not overcharged for redundant work.
