Duration and Continuance. 31.1 Once ratified by the parties, this Collective Agreement shall be binding and remain in effect from the 1st day of May 2021 until and including the 30th day of April 2024. 31.2 This Collective Agreement, however, shall continue in force, including during any period of negotiation, until both parties ratify a new Collective Agreement, or until a strike or lockout is declared.‌

RE: DISTANCE ALLOWANCE FOR INSTRUCTORS TRAVELLING TO NORTHERN COMMUNITIES TO TEACH PER INTER-UNIVERSITIES SERVICES Whereas some Contract Faculty are hired to teach in northern Manitoba communities as part of the University of Winnipeg commitment to the Inter-Universities Services, and Whereas there is a long-standing practice of enhancing their teaching salary amount by a Distance Allowance that is based on an amount of $3.25/km; and Whereas the Distance Allowance recognizes that there is an additional time commitment of an Instructor for travel time when an Instructor does not live in the community in which they will be teaching a course. Therefore the Parties hereby agree that a Contract Faculty member who is teaching in a northern Manitoba community in which they do not reside, pursuant to the Inter-Universities Services (IUS) agreement, shall be paid a Distance Allowance as set out in the 2006 schedule prepared by Inter-Universities Services, a copy of which is attached to this Letter of Understanding. Duration and Continuance. 23.1 This Agreement shall commence August 1, 2015 and terminate on July 31, 2019. Either Party may give notice to renew or revise the Collective Agreement by giving written notice together with the particulars relating thereto. Such notice in writing shall not be less than sixty (60) days and not more than ninety (90) days preceding the termination date of the Collective Agreement and shall provide the particulars relating thereto.   • Conversion and Continuance Each Borrowing initially shall be of the Type specified in the applicable Borrowing Request and, in the case of a Eurodollar Borrowing, shall have an initial Interest Period as specified in such Borrowing Request. Thereafter, the Borrower may elect to convert such Borrowing to a different Type or to continue such Borrowing and, in the case of a Eurodollar Borrowing, may elect Interest Periods therefor, all as provided in this Section 2.04. The Borrower may elect different options with respect to different portions of the affected Borrowing, in which case each such portion shall be allocated ratably among the Lenders holding the Loans comprising such Borrowing, and the Loans comprising each such portion shall be considered a separate Borrowing.

  • Effective Date; Duration; Continuance (a) This Agreement shall become effective on January 1, 2020. (b) Subject to prior termination pursuant to Section 8.2 below, this Agreement shall continue in force until the next annual renewal, and indefinitely thereafter, but only so long as the continuance after such date shall be specifically approved at least annually by vote of the Trustees or by a vote of a majority of the outstanding voting securities of the Fund, provided that in either event such continuance shall also be approved by the vote of a majority of the Trustees who are not “interested persons” (as such term is defined in the Investment Company Act) of any party to this Agreement cast in person at a meeting called for the purpose of voting on such approval. (c) Except to the extent that the Trust has obtained and/or relies upon an exemptive order of the Commission or a no-action letter of the staff of the Commission providing relief from the requirement to obtain shareholder approval of this Agreement, the required shareholder approval of this Agreement or any continuance of this Agreement shall be effective with respect to the Fund if a majority of the outstanding voting securities of the series (as defined in Rule 18f-2(h) under the Investment Company Act) of shares of the Fund votes to approve this Agreement or its continuance.

  • Formation and Continuation The Partnership is a limited partnership heretofore formed and continued pursuant to the provisions of the Act and upon the terms and subject to the conditions set forth in this Agreement. Except as expressly provided herein to the contrary, the rights and obligations of the Partners and the administration and termination of the Partnership shall be governed by the Act. The Partnership Interest of each Partner shall be personal property for all purposes.

  • Continuance The Parties hereby confirm that the provisions of the Receivables Transfer Agreement and the other Transaction Documents shall continue in full force and effect, subject only to the amendments effected thereto by this Amendment.
