Common use of DURATION AND SCOPE OF AGREEMENT Clause in Contracts

DURATION AND SCOPE OF AGREEMENT. A. Duration‌ This Agreement shall, except as provided in Section B of this ARTICLE, be effective as of July 1, 2022, and shall continue in effect until June 30, 2026, and shall be automatically renewed for additional one (1) year period unless either party hereto gives written notice to the other party, on or before October 1 of the calendar year preceding the calendar year in which this Agreement expires, of its intention to modify or terminate this Agreement, in which event the parties shall commence negotiations for a successor agreement on or before October 1st of the then school year.
