Common use of Duration of Assistance Clause in Contracts

Duration of Assistance. The duration of the assistance is determined by the individual need of each eligible borrower up to the maximum household limit of $6,000. The homeowner may continue receiving assistance for up to 2 months after reemployment as long as the program household limit has not been reached. Assistance will be distributed to the lender/servicer on a monthly basis.
