Duties and Powers of the Presiding Officer. The Presiding Officer will: • ensure an orderly presentation of all evidence; • ensure that the proceedings are electronically recorded; and • see that a fair and impartial decision based on the issues and evidence presented at the hearing is issued by the HEARING PANEL no later than ten working days after the conclusion of the hearing or, when written comments are submitted, ten working days after their submission. Any need for additional time must be documented in writing.

  • President and Chief Executive Officer The president shall be the chief executive officer of the Trust, unless the Board of Trustees designates the chairman as chief executive officer. The chief executive officer shall see that all orders and resolutions of the Board of Trustees are carried into effect. The chief executive officer shall also be the chief administrative officer of the Trust and shall perform such other duties and have such other powers as the Board of Trustees may from time to time prescribe.

  • Treasurer; Assistant Treasurer The Treasurer shall be the chief financial and accounting officer of the Trust, and shall, subject to the provisions of the Declaration of Trust and to any arrangement made by the Trustees with a custodian, investment adviser, sub-adviser or manager, or transfer, shareholder servicing or similar agent, be in charge of the valuable papers, books of account and accounting records of the Trust, and shall have such other duties and powers as may be designated from time to time by the Trustees or by the President. Any Assistant Treasurer shall have such duties and powers as may be designated from time to time by the Trustees or the President.

  • Vice Chairman In the absence of the Chairman of the Board, the Vice Chairman shall preside at all meetings of the Board of Directors and of the unitholders of the MLP; and he shall have such other powers and duties as from time to time may be assigned to him by the Board of Directors.
