Common use of Duty Assignment Clause in Contracts

Duty Assignment. If a unit member is specifically assigned duties by the unit member’s supervisor which are significantly different from the duties listed on the unit member’s classification placement description for a period of more than five (5) working days within a fifteen (15)-calendar-day period, the unit member’s salary shall be adjusted upward for the entire period if such duties are normally performed by unit members in a higher classification.
