Early Termination, Change in Control Sample Clauses

The "Early Termination, Change in Control" clause allows one or both parties to end a contract before its scheduled expiration if there is a significant change in the ownership or control of one party. Typically, this clause is triggered when a company is acquired, merges with another entity, or undergoes a major restructuring that alters who controls its operations. By including this provision, the parties can protect themselves from being bound to agreements with entities whose management or strategic direction may have changed, thereby managing risk and ensuring that contractual relationships remain aligned with their original intentions.
