Common use of EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT Clause in Contracts

EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT. All full time Employees shall be entitled to 3 days paid study/examination/ conference leave per annum for the purposes of attending courses, conferences and/or undertaking or preparing for examinations in a relevant course of study relevant to their work at the facility and is conducted by a recognised institution or training organisation. Part time Employees who work not less than 4 shifts per fortnight shall be entitled to leave under this clause, on a pro rata basis.
