Effect of Notices Clause Samples

The "Effect of Notices" clause defines the legal and practical consequences that arise when a formal notice is given under the contract. Typically, this clause specifies when a notice is considered effective—such as upon delivery, receipt, or after a certain period—and may outline the impact of such notices on the parties' rights and obligations. For example, it might clarify that a notice of breach triggers a cure period or that a termination notice ends the agreement after a set number of days. The core function of this clause is to ensure both parties understand when and how contractual communications take effect, thereby reducing disputes over timing and the validity of notices.
