Common use of Effective Date and Initial Term Clause in Contracts

Effective Date and Initial Term. This Contract will become effective on the Contract Date and will continue in effect until the tenth (10th) anniversary of the Commencement Date (the “Initial Term”), or if renewed as provided in Section 4.2, until the last day of the renewal term (the “Renewal Term”), unless earlier terminated pursuant to the termination provisions of Article XIV, in which event the Term will be deemed to have ended as of the date of such termination. At the end of the Term, all obligations of the Parties hereunder will terminate, except as otherwise provided herein.
