Effective Date and Interim Period Sample Clauses

The 'Effective Date and Interim Period' clause defines when an agreement officially begins and outlines the period between signing and the agreement's full implementation. Typically, this clause specifies the exact date the contract becomes binding and may address the parties' rights and obligations during the interim period, such as continued operations or restrictions on certain actions. Its core function is to provide clarity on the timeline of the agreement, ensuring both parties understand when their responsibilities commence and how to manage the transition period.
