Electric Metering Device Sample Clauses

The Electric Metering Device clause defines the requirements and responsibilities related to the installation, maintenance, and use of devices that measure electricity consumption at a property or facility. Typically, this clause specifies who is responsible for providing, installing, and maintaining the metering equipment, as well as how readings are to be taken and reported. For example, it may require the landlord to ensure the meter is accurate and accessible, or obligate the tenant to report usage regularly. The core function of this clause is to ensure accurate measurement and fair allocation of electricity costs, preventing disputes over energy usage and billing.
