ELEMENTARY AND SECONDARY TEACHING ASSIGNMENTS. (232) Deviations from the normal daily schedule for such as school assemblies, shortened days, curriculum days, educational trips, and similar exceptions shall serve to modify the above. This may result in the elimination and/or reduction of teaching and/or preparation periods on such days. However, the Board agrees that the scheduling of school assemblies will not result in the elimination of a planning period except in certain situations such as the involvement of an elementary special area teacher in the assembly.

Teachers shall receive the professional rate for elimination or reduction in preparation periods caused by the schedule of traveling teachers when approved by administration.

  • Teaching Assignments No employee shall be assigned to teach in a grade level and/or subject area not within the scope of his/her teaching certificate, except where a position within his/her certification is unavailable or when mutually agreed to by the affected employee and principal, or when determined necessary by the principal. Employees assigned to positions outside the scope of their certificates shall be assigned as soon as possible to positions for which they hold certification.

  • Geographic Area and Sector Specific Allowances, Conditions and Exceptions The following allowances and conditions shall apply where relevant. Where the Employer does work which falls under the following headings, the Employer agrees to pay and observe the relevant respective conditions and/or exceptions set out below in each case.

  • Background Screening and Security All Contractor employees, Subcontractors and agents of the Contractor performing work under the Contract must comply with all background screening and security requirements of the Department, as detailed below.

  • ROLE OF THE PRIMARY AND SECONDARY CONTACTS 5.01 Primary and Secondary Contact(s). The Resident, in executing this Agreement, is required to identify a “Primary Contact” and a “Secondary Contact”. It is strongly recommended that these contacts are parents or legal guardians of the Resident. The Primary Contact serves as the individual that is contacted by the Manager if concerns or problems arise with the Resident, as detailed in section 5.02 below. If the Primary Contact is not available, the Secondary Contact will be contacted.

  • Employees on Long Term Supply Assignments Subject to paragraph d) below, Employees completing a full year long-term supply assignment shall be allocated one hundred and twenty (120) short-term disability days payable at ninety percent (90%) of wages at the start of the assignment. An employee completing a long-term supply assignment that is less than a full year will be allocated one hundred and twenty (120) short-term disability days payable at ninety percent (90%) of wages reduced to reflect the proportion the long term supply assignment bears to the length of the regular work year for the position.
