Employee Applications. During the period of posting, employees who wish to apply for the open classification, including employees on layoff, may do so. The application shall be in writing or online and on the standard form furnished by the City. Applications shall be submitted to the City’s Human Resources Department and received no later than 5:00 p.m. on the closing date of the vacancy.
