Common use of Employee Notification Clause in Contracts

Employee Notification. An employee shall, upon written request, be provided with a copy of any materials in his/her personnel file. The Employer shall provide to an employee a copy of documents which relate in any way to disciplinary action which has been taken, or which is proposed to be taken, or which negatively affects an employee’s job security or advancement, at the time such documents are placed in the employee’s personnel file.
