Employer Engaged in Continuous Operations. Notwithstanding the above paragraph, an Employee may be required to work more than six (6) consecutive hours without any entitlement to a later meal period or pay for that period when the Employer is engaged in a continuous operation where breaks are difficult to schedule but sufficient lag time normally exists to enable an Employee to consume a meal during the shift. Continuous operations will be limited to: asphalt paving operations, concrete pours, tide work, and pile driving unless mutually agreed to between the Union and the Employer.
