Employment Reassignment to Different Classification. An employee may be reassigned to a lower job classification on a continuing basis, in which case the employee will be paid at the wage rate which is applicable to the lower classification. Such reassignments may occur in the following circumstances: (a) As a result of a job posting. (b) As an alternative to laying the employee off.
