Common use of ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT Clause in Contracts

ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT. The City will provide non-steel-toed safety/work boots and rain coats to GIS Technicians, Junior Civil Engineers, Assistant Civil Engineers, Associate Civil Engineers, Senior Engineers, and other individuals in classifications in the Engineering Department that visit construction sites. Safety/Work boots and/or raincoats will be replaced at the City's expense when they are unserviceable, not more than twice per employee per year. Total cost to the City shall not exceed two hundred fifty dollars ($250) per pair of work boots and raincoat.
