ENROLLMENT AND EFFECTIVE DATE OF COVERAGE Clause Samples

The "Enrollment and Effective Date of Coverage" clause defines when and how an individual becomes covered under an insurance or benefits plan. It typically outlines the process for enrolling, such as submitting an application or meeting eligibility requirements, and specifies the date on which coverage begins—often after a waiting period or upon completion of certain conditions. This clause ensures that both parties clearly understand when coverage is activated, thereby preventing disputes about eligibility and the timing of benefits.
