Customer and Personal Service — Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Telecommunications — Knowledge of transmission, broadcasting, switching, control, and operation of telecommunications systems. Public Safety and Security — Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations for the protection of people, data, property, and institutions. IT Services Support • Undertake general IT support tasks including hardware and software support, fault diagnosis and problem solving. • Respond to Service Desk requests, phone calls, walk-ups or emails promptly and efficiently, seeking additional assistance where required. • Provide IT support that facilitates teaching and learning. • Demonstrated high level technical diagnostic and problem-solving skills in an IT environment. • Understanding of the issues related to current and future use of IT resources, principles, procedures and/or practices. • Attention to detail • Provide IT support and training to a wide range of student ages and levels of competence. • Under direction, undertake installation, testing and maintenance of computers, software, networking, peripherals and audio-visual equipment. • Under the direction of the IT Services Manager, undertake special projects as identified and required. • Work closely with third party providers as required. • Maintain comprehensive documentation and record keeping. • Support the Manager as required. • Maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times. Departmental Planning • Contribute to the planning and development of mission critical policy, processes and guidelines for business continuity. • Support the IT Team to successfully achieve the team strategies. • Attention to detail • Maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times.
