Estimate for Make-Ready Work Clause Samples

The "Estimate for Make-Ready Work" clause defines the process by which a party provides a cost estimate for preparing a site or equipment for use, typically before installation or construction begins. This clause usually requires the responsible party to assess the scope of necessary preparatory work, such as clearing, repairs, or upgrades, and to present a detailed estimate of the associated costs and timeline to the other party for approval. Its core function is to ensure transparency and predictability in project planning by clarifying expected expenses and responsibilities before work commences, thereby reducing the risk of disputes over unforeseen costs.
