EVALUATION AND PROBATION Sample Clauses
The Evaluation and Probation clause establishes a period during which an employee's performance and suitability for their role are formally assessed. Typically, this clause outlines the duration of the probationary period, the criteria for evaluation, and the potential outcomes, such as confirmation of employment, extension of probation, or termination. Its core function is to provide employers with a structured timeframe to determine if a new hire meets the required standards, thereby reducing the risk of long-term employment commitments to unsuitable candidates.
