EXCLUSION FROM THE BARGAINING UNIT. The Employer hereby recognizes the Union as the sole and exclusive representative for the purpose of collective bargaining in respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment and other conditions of employment for the term of this agreement for all the employees of the Employer (excluding, however, all persons designated by PERB as management/confidential, elected and appointed officers and officials, department heads, employees of the Sheriff’s Department whose titles appear in the PERB Certification Decision, Case number: C-2791, and supervisory personnel including all those employees listed on Addendum A: attached hereto and made a part hereof.
