Execution of the Work. 2.4.1 The Artist will fabricate and transport the Work to the Site in accordance with the schedule proposed by the Artist in the approved Design Proposal. Such schedule may be amended only by written agreement between Texas Tech and the Artist. 2.4.2 Texas Tech will have the right to review the Work at reasonable times during the fabrication. 2.4.3 The Artist shall submit formal written Progress Reports each month to Texas Tech. The reports must include written and photographic documentation of the Work’s progress. 2.4.4 The Artist shall complete the fabrication of the Work in substantial conformity with the Design Proposal. 2.4.5 The Artist shall present to Texas Tech in writing for further review and approval any significant changes in the appearance, scope, design, color, size, material, location, or texture of the Work not in substantial conformity with, or not permitted by, the Design Proposal. A significant change is any change that affects the appearance, installation, scheduling, Site preparation, Site, budget, or maintenance of the Work as represented by the Artist in the Artist’s Design Proposal.
Execution of the Work. 5.1 The Contractor shall carry out the work in complete autonomy. The Contractor may at any time ask the Principal for additional information in order thus to be able to carry out the work as required. The Contractor may, with the consent of the Principal, call in a specialist Sub-contractor. The Contractor’s personnel who carry out the contractually agreed work shall do this under the management, authority and responsibility of the Contractor. The latter personnel are not bound in any way whatsoever to the Principal. The directions, which are given by the Principal, cannot under any circumstances at all be interpreted as an indication, which would indicate any relationship of authority. 5.2 The Contractor is regarded as having examined all of the information, records and drawings, which have been made available to him within the framework of the present agreement by or on behalf of the Principal. The Contractor is regarded as having visited the Site and having agreed with the circumstances in which the Contractor will have to execute the agreement. 5.3 The Contractor will comply fully with the regulations concerning safety, security, health and traffic regulation within the Principal’s company. Before the contract commences, the applicable conditions will be made known and handed to the Contractor. The Principal reserves the right to alter those conditions. The new conditions are applicable from the time of their notification to the Contractor. 5.4 The Principal has the right to monitor the work during its execution. The Contractor shall take all necessary steps to make such an inspection possible. This does not detract from the autonomy under which the Contractor performs the work. 5.5 If the Agreement, laws, ordinances, proscriptions and/or regulations impose a government test and/or examination of the work, the Contractor must carry out the said test and/or examination at once or have it carried out. 5.6 The Contractor undertakes for the execution of the work to provide his personnel on site with the necessary safety helmet, safety spectacles, safety shoes and overall. 5.7 The Contractor undertakes to fulfil all obligations which are associated with the provision of services by his own personnel or by Sub-contractors on Belgian territory and guarantees that his employees or agents or his Sub-contractors and the employees or agents of those Sub-contractors will fulfil the obligations resting on them in this connection. Execution of the Work. The CONTRACTOR shall prosecute the Work continuously in such a manner and in such order of precedence as may be directed by the OWNER, working overtime, if necessary, to meet the specified dates.

Execution of the Work. On acceptance of the tender by the contractor and issuing of Work Order, the architect/consultant has to give proper instructions to the contractor for procurement of materials and execution of work.
Execution of the Work a. After written approval of the submissions/revisions made pursuant to Section 2.3 of this Agreement, the Artist shall promptly furnish a tentative schedule for completion of fabrication and installation of the Work to the City, including a schedule for the submission of progress reports, if any. After written approval of said schedule by the City, the Artist shall distribute said schedule to all City personnel and consultants working on the Work. The Artist shall complete the fabrication and installation of the Work in substantial conformity with the Final Proposal, as detailed and revised under Section 2.3 of this Agreement.

Within thirty (30) days after written approval of the Work Construction Document, and revisions made to pursuant to Section 1.3, the Artist shall furnish to the Owner , with a good knowledge of the construction schedule, a final schedule for completion of fabrication or construction of the Work and its assembly, erection or installation at the Project site (the “Work Schedule). If the Work is to be integrated with the construction of the Project, the Work Schedule shall also include relevant information as to the schedule for the Project’s construction contractor and coordination and integration with work of the Project. After written approval of the Work Schedule by the Owner, the Artist or their designate(s) shall fabricate, transport and construct assemble, erect or install the Work in accordance with the Work Schedule. The Work Schedule may be amended by written agreement between the Owner and the Artist. 1.4.2. The Owner shall have the right to review the progress of the Work at reasonable times during the fabrication or construction thereof. The artist shall submit to the Owner monthly progress reports in accordance with the Work Schedule provided for this Section 1.4. 1.4.3. The Artist shall complete the fabrication and assembly, and the erection, installation or construction of the Work in substantial conformity with the Work Construction Documents and Work Schedule approved by the Owner. 1.4.4. The Artist shall present in writing, and in advance to the Owner for review and approval by the Art Task Force Committee, any significant changes in the Work that would not be in substantial conformity with, or otherwise permitted by, the Work Construction Documents approved by the Owner. A significant change would include change in the size, scope, scale, design, color, material, texture, method of fabrication, construction, erection, or a change in the location of the Work which affects construction, installation, scheduling, site preparation or maintenance of the Work, or a change in the concept of the Work as represented in the Work Construction Document approved by the Owner. Circumstances of any such proposed change shall not cause this Work to exceed the total budget stipulated in Section 2 of this Agreement.
